the lads from Yeovil !! podcast #24

The Beat Hotel are/were from Yeovil ! My mind immediately wanders onto the image of them catching the 18:10 from Yeovil Junction with Bubblegum Splash....

The B-52's single is the original original original totally indie "raw as" version of Rock Lobster...straight outa Athens,Georgia...PO Box 1906 to be exact. Oh and I had to choose the b-side of the Jesus and Mary Chain single because the a side wouldn't play properly...somehow it's warped and sounds like my cat is sleeping on it as I try to play it ( like she used to try and do when she was a kitten ) ( er not specifically the Jesus and Mary Chain single, the turntable I mean ). The Makers of The Dead Travel Fast are from the Sydney label M Squared which I have had an mini rave on about before in an earlier post :)

To fix a warped record, I have been informed to place the vinyl in-between two sheets of glass in the sun. Not been tested by myself, but it is 'what I've read'. (he he.) Please don't try it on any rare records.
